At a very young age, my father passed on his passion for fishing to me, and my parents, both excellent cooks, ran a restaurant. This is how I developed a true love of cooking at a very early age.
I still remember my first visit to a fishmonger: I already dreamed of sailing and catching big fish. I could spend hours questioning the fishmonger, fascinated by his work.
A taste for travel, adventure, and discovering the cuisines of the world led me to become a sailor. Over the years, I rose through the ranks, eventually becoming a captain in the merchant navy. Surrounded by sailors from all over the world, I spent part of my free time learning their recipes and culinary traditions.
